Privacy Policy
Effective October 9, 2026 · Last updated October 9, 2026
New River Days is a free weekly guide to Jacksonville and Onslow County, North Carolina, run by New River Digital ("we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: newriverdigitalnc@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, your email address and basic engagement data (such as opens and clicks) are stored by our email provider, beehiiv.
- Forms. When you submit an event or a partner inquiry, we receive what you type, such as your name, email, phone, business name, and event details. Forms are delivered to our inbox through FormSubmit.
- Technical data. Like any website, our host (Cloudflare) and the services that load fonts (Google Fonts) and the signup form (beehiiv) may receive your IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and delivery.
We don't run ad trackers or sell analytics data, and we don't ask for sensitive information. Please don't send it through our forms.
How we use it
- To send the newsletter you asked for.
- To review, verify, and publish events you submit, and to contact you about them.
- To answer partner and advertising inquiries.
- To keep the site secure and working.
What we share
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers named above, who process it to run this site, or when the law requires it. Event details you submit for publication (such as the event name, place, time, and organizer contact you choose to list) may be published on the site and in the newsletter.
Cookies
We don't set our own tracking cookies. The beehiiv signup form may set cookies needed for it to work and to credit where a signup came from.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe anytime with the link at the bottom of every email.
- Email us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. We'll answer within 30 days.
Children
The site is for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.
How long we keep it
Subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Form submissions are kept as long as needed to handle them and our records, usually no more than two years.
Security
We use reputable providers and encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes will also be noted in the newsletter.
